I graduated from dentistry in 1988. Four years later I opened my own dental practice in Etobicoke. I strongly believe in new technologies and am one of the first to incorporate dental lasers in my practice. I stay informed about new technology and innovative treatment options. In 2000 I added implant treatments to my list of services. I am a member of the following organizations:

  • Invisalign providers
  • Ontario Dental Association
  • Royal College of Dental Surgeons
  • Toronto Implant Study Club
  • Halton Peel Dental Association
  • Academy of Laser Dentistry
  • Toronto West Dental Association
  • Dental Practice Mastery
  • Dr. Berlin Veneers Club

Currently I am working on expanding my Invisalign practice and participating in charitable dental programs like 1000 Smiles and Halton Peel Dental Association projects to bring healthy smile to everyone.

Thanks to extensive research and fast developing technology, dentists have recently gained incredible knowledge to improve the health of your teeth: to start, we can teach you effective prevention techniques that you can make part of your daily routine. We can treat, improve, and replace teeth and even regenerate bone and soft tissues. Various educational tools such as video, cd-rom, intraoral cameras, and computer imaging allow patients to be more informed about their options. New and improved state-of-the-art dental tools such as anesthetics and lasers that allow removal of decay without the use of drills, are less invasive than traditional tools and provide a comfortable atmosphere to the sensitive patient. Innovative new magnification tools, microscopes, and cancer screening devices have greatly improved detection and early treatment of intraoral structures.

Cosmetic procedures like bonding, veneers, and porcelain restorations are in high demand because we generally retain our teeth longer and would like to have great smiles for life. Tooth whitening, once considered a controversial treatment, has now become an everyday procedure. To achieve those “white whites” there is a variety of “in office” methods as well as “home” whitening kits. The dentist will assist you in choosing the best option for your needs.

New medication such as Atridox and Periostat, combined with regular dental visits and improved oral hygiene can delay or even reverse the progress of gum disease. Some research studies have even indicated that there might be an association with periodontal disease and heart problems. And for those who have lost all or some teeth implants have proven to be a highly effective alternative to dentures or bridges. IMPLANTS have proven to be highly effective. They restore diminished function and preserve lost bone level from missing teeth. So ask your dentist about implant technology. There are many other products available to better help our patients, too many to list. Come in for a free consultation on implants, or other great solutions for dental problems. Your teeth deserve to be cared for regularly and properly.
